The Iztochna B Grupa (Eastern B Group) is one of two second-tier leagues in Bulgarian football. The 14 teams play each other twice (home and away) for a total of 26 games. The champion is automatically promoted. The 2nd team goes into a promtion playoff with the 2nd team from the other B Grupa. The bottom 2 clubs are relegated. The season runs from August to June with a three month winter break.
