Dutch domestic football is totally dominated by the big three of Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord - only one title outside those three since 1964, that being AZ in 1981. Holland is famous for its revolutionary 'total football' which emerged in the 1970s, led by Ajax and Johan Cruyff. This open, attacking style is still a hallmark of the Dutch game.
