Founded on December 3, 1906 at the Birreria Voigt as a fusion of FC Torinese and dissident members of Juventus. The Toro nickname is an abbreviation of the club name, but nicely coincides with the Italian word for bull. It is also featured on the club's emblem. All but one of the club's players were killed in the 1949 Superga plane crash tragedy. They had the best team in Italy at the time, the famous Grande Torino, having won 5 titles in succession. Re-founded in 2005 with a new name because of financial problems. Reached the UEFA Cup final in 1992. Previous stadiums - Filadelfia, Communale, Delle Alpi. The current stadium is actually the rebuilt Communale.

* Italian Championship (1928)
* Serie A (1943, 46, 47, 48, 49, 76)
