Official Website: acsiena.it Formed out of the all-sports Società Studio e Divertimento, founded in 1904. Thus the foundation date is often given as 1904, though football did not begin for another four years. Presumably the old Robur name is from the book of the same name by Jules Verne. The name was changed to AC Siena in 1933 amidst a wave of Fascist encouraged name changes. The black and white colors are also those of the city of Siena. The club's emblem includes the black and white stripes of the club's jerseys, the original Robur 1904 name and the stylized figure of the wolf nursing the infant twins Romulus and Remus, founders of Rome. The stadium is named for the former FIGC president, who was a prominent figure in Siena society. It was built in 1938 and previously known as the Stadio Rino Dauss and the Rastrello. Previous Stadiums: Piazza d'Armi, San Prospero.
