Sedan is a town in the northeast of France, part of the Ardennes department. Merged with Racing Club Paris in 1966. The merger ended in 1970. Merged with Mouzon from 1974 to 1976. The stadium is named for a former player and coach, involved with Sedan for 26 years in the middle of the 20th century.
