Full Name: San Jose Earthquakes City: San Jose, CA Country:United States League:Major League Soccer Founded: 1995 (1974) Stadium: Buck Shaw Stadium (12,000) Colors: Blue, White Previous Names: San Jose Clash (1996-99) Nickname: Quakes Rivals: Los Angeles Galaxy
Description: The Earthquakes is a reference to San Jose's location near a number of geological fault lines, and the region's semi-regular earthquakes. There have been several clubs in the Bay Area with this name, although there is no direct lineage. The first lasted from 1974-1988 in the NASL and semi-pro WSA. The current club was almost named the Earthquakes initially but (*rumor alert*) because of Nike's influence, the club used the Clash name until the 2000 season. The club competed in Major League Soccer from 1996-2005. The franchise was moved to Houston before the 2006 season. In the summer of 2007 it was announced that the Quakes would return to MLS for the 2008 season. The Quakes are playing most of their games at Buck Shaw Stadium on the campus of Santa Clara University, just north of San Jose. A few are being played at other locations around the Bay Area as they develop plans for a stadium of their own. Previous Stadium: Spartan Stadium (1996-2005).
The current uniforms can be found on Wikipedia. Also the founding date of the MLS Quakes is 1995 like the Galaxy, Crew and the rest of the founding teams. The current incarnation is officially a continuation of the 95 to 05 franchise. Houston is considered a new franchise as of 2006.

The logo has also been updated (see Wikipedia), and I'd like to see whoever did the above uniforms do the new uniforms using the Wikipedia versions for reference.
