Official Website: stade-de-reims.com Description: The original club name translates as "Pommery Park Sports Society". The Pommery is a public park in the city of Reims. The club was technically refounded in 1931 when it turned professional. There were also a pair of financially induced name changes in the early Nineties. Reims were the dominant team of French football in the Fifties and early Sixties, winning six titles, two cups and reaching two European Cup finals. Unfortunately both times they ran up against the juggernaut that was Real Madrid.
