Founded on January 26, 1913 in a meeting at the Place Maugrétout (a street in the center of La Louvière) . Also commonly known as RAA Louviéroise. Royal is an honorary title given by the Belgian royal family to every club in Belgium after twenty-five years of existence. Relegated to the second level for 2006-07, but were denied a professional license so they must compete at the third level. La Louviere means "the wolf", thus the Wolves nickname. The stadium is located on the city's Boulevard du Tivoli. Matricule #93.
