Official Website: kallitheafc.gr Kallithea is a suburb of Athens. Formed as a merger of Esperos, Iraklis (Hercules), AE Kallitheas, and Kallithaikos. Pyrsos were merged into the new club the following year, and the five stars of the logo symbolize the five founders. The stadium bears the nickname 'El Paso'. The stadium is built into the location of an old quarry, with a rock face making up one side of the ground. At the time the ground was built (mid-60s), Western movies were very popular in Greece, in particular the Clint Eastwood movie 'Duel in El Paso'. The rocky setting of the stadium + this popular movie = a stadium nicknamed El Paso. It is officially named for Grigoris Lambrakis, a leftist Greek political activist assassinated in 1963.
