Huddersfield were the first English club to win three consecutive league titles. The Galpharm Stadium was known as the McAlpine Stadium until 2004. McAlpine were the main contractor in the construction and declined to renew their sponsorship. Galpharm is a healthcare company. Huddersfield Town share it with rugby league club Huddersfield Giants, a very unusual situation in British sports. Previous Stadiums: Leeds Road (1908-94).
