Official Website: fenerbahce.org Fenerbahçe is a neighborhood of Istanbul. Its literal translation is lighthouse, and there is a famous lighthouse in the water just off the neighborhood's shore. Founded by students of the French College of St. Joseph. The founder of modern Turkey, Kemal Atatürk was supposedly a Fenerbahçe supporter. Arguably the most popular club in Turkey. Reached the quarterfinals of the 1963-64 Cup Winners Cup. The Sari Kanaryalar (The Yellow Canaries) nickname derives from goalkeeper Cihat Arman, a club legend who always wore 'yellow canary' colored jerseys. In time the nickname came to represent that of the club itself. The stadium is located in the Kadikoy neighborhood and is named for a former club president. Trophy Room:
