Founded in 1893 by the merger of Our Boys and East End. The rivalry with Dundee United has a sectarian edge, The Dees traditionally being supported by the Protestant section of town. Reached the European Cup semifinals in 1963, going out to eventual winners Milan. The stadium is located on Dens Road in Dundee.
