Description: Chivas USA were formed on August 4, 2004 by Jorge Vergara (owner of Mexican club Guadalajara) and business partner Antonio Cue (who serves as club president), in an effort to tap into that team’s fervent fan base in the US in general and the Los Angeles area in particular.
