Full Name: Chernomorets-Burgas-Bulgaria Bulgarian Name: Черноморец-Бургас-България City: Sofia Country: Bulgaria Founded: 2000 Previous: Avto-Bil 2000 (2000-01), Conegliano (2001-06), Chernomorets Burgas (Sofia) (2006-07)
Founded in 2000 as Avto-Bil 2000 by the merger of Verila and Iskar. Changed names to Conegliano, named for the Italian appliance manufacturer, the club's most important sponsor, and based in the Sofia suburb of German. Before the start of the 2006-07 season, the club was purchased by the owner of Chernomorets Burgas, who competed in the second tier (B Grupa) at the time. They were renamed Chernomorets Burgas (Sofia). In the summer of 2006-07 they were renamed again to Chernomorets-Burgas-Bulgaria and moved to Burgas. They were relegated to the B Grupa and then again to the Yugoiztochna V Grupa due to financial irregularities. They were denied a license to compete for the 2007-08 season and it is unclear if they will restart at any level in 2008-09.
